Claymation movie, loosely based on a true story: A bored, lonely 8-year-old girl in Australia writes a letter to a random person whose name she finds in a New York phone book, thus starting an enduring pen friendship with a lonely, middle-aged man on the autism spectrum. Featuring the voice talents of Bethany Whitmore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Toni Collette and Eric Bana. Shown in cooperation with AutismusCompass Karlsruhe during this year’s “Autismus Wochen (Autism Weeks)”.
