LGBTQ+ Socials for Windsor, Slough, Maidenhead and nearby

No agenda or formality, just a group of local LGBTQ+ people getting together over a few drinks - including non-alcoholic options.

A Hoppy Place have a wide-ranging craft beer menu and a selection of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. For food, they serve empanadas at the bar, and have a relationship with Knead, a pizza restaurant in the same block, to allow you to bring food from outside. An accessible loo is available with all loos being gender neutral.

No problem to join us a little later than 6:30pm. Please look out for a comment in this event with the location of our table. We’ll also bring the inflatable frog to mark our table.

We’ll meet in the car park at the main entrance to Black Park at 11am and start with a walk in the woods, perhaps catching a glimpse of whats happening over the fence at Pinewood Studios. About one hour walking and you should be fine in trainers.

Post-walk, we'll find a table not too far from the car park for a bring-and-share picnic. You're welcome to join just for the picnic - please plan for 1pm onwards, just in case we're delayed on the walk. Precise picnic location shared in this event once we're sat down.

Black Park has very limited public transport (the nearest bus stop is a 25 minute walk away). The hosts can offer some lifts from Slough station. Please turn your MeetUp messages on and post in this event if you need a lift.

Kids welcome. One of our attendees isn't comfortable around most dogs. While you are welcome to bring well behaved dogs, please be prepared to keep them on lead or under close control.
