Roots of Amsterdam Workshop (in English)

Dear (Dutch) History-lovers,

Have you ever wondered why Dutch Amsterdammers are so commercially minded? Why they’re internationally known for being cheap pennypinchers (‘Dutch Treat’)? Why they have no respect for authority and talk very directly (talking like a ‘Dutch Uncle’)?

If so, we’d love to invite you to our free workshop about Dutch History to learn more about the Dutch Culture! This first workshop we’ll dig into the famous history of the Dutch ‘Golden Age’ and find clues for the true Dutch Spirit.

Programme
Please start arriving from 19:00 onwards at Koentact Dutch Language School. We'll run the first part of the workshop from 19:30 to 20:30. Then we'll have a 15 minute break to chat and have a drink with your new history-loving-friends. At 20:45, we’ll continue on with the second workshop until 21:30.

Level
Everybody who speaks proficient English is welcome because this workshop will be in English.

Donations welcome:
Our event is completely free, however, we really like to support disadvantaged children with their studies at school.
