I know little Emma hates it when we have to walk outside....they're so short to the ground, short-haired. Even with a coat their little leg joints (if they're old like Emma) get painful.

Good morning everyone,

My Dachsies, Napoleon and Josephine, woke me early this morning and said that no dachshund in their right mind would want to be out in this cold and snow. As much as they want to see everyone, they just can't stand the cold and thought you would understand.

So, this morning's meetup is cancelled :-( Although if anyone braves it outside today, please send me some photos.

I posted a survey on the website to find out if you would like to meet at an indoor venue during winter months. Bark!, Earthdog all charge $5 per dog. Please let me know how you feel about that or if you have a suggestions for an inexpensive or free place to meet indoors.

Finally, if you are in the Wash Park area today, I'll be holding open a beautiful Custom Craftsman home today from 1-4pm with free wine, appetizers, and prizes; Stop by and say hello if you are in the area: 1245 S. Ogden street.
