Details

Hi all!

We are delighted to announce that Alistair Duggin will be presenting our first talk on our next accessibility evening. He will be talking on 'How do you make a website as big as GOV.UK (https://mailtrack.io/trace/link/ebc08f0391385e8a581a94dfb41857bd36d19f8a?url=http%3A%2F%2FGOV.UK&signature=bf2e84c6c7775083) accessible to the widest possible audience' - interesting stuff!

Our second speaker of the evening will be Michiel Bijl presenting a talk on “ARIA Authoring Practices Guide: what is it and how does it help?”. Michiel started to research accessibility in 2014 and is now an Invited Expert of the Accessible Rich Internet Applications Working Group (http://www.w3.org/WAI/ARIA/) (ARIA WG) and Accessible Platform Architectures (http://www.w3.org/WAI/APA/) (APA WG), and a participant of the Web Incubator Community Group (https://www.w3.org/community/wicg/) (WICG). All at the W3C.
