The Hudson Shakespeare Company presents "Cardenio," based on the play "Double Falsehood," which MAY HAVE BEEN a collaboration between Shakespeare and John Fletcher. Or it may be a clever forgery! In any case, it sounds like a lot of fun. Sinatra Park is right by the Hoboken PATH station and offers a beautiful view of the Manhattan skyline. http://www.hudsonshakespeare.org/pastshows/2012/Cardenio.html
The play begins at 7 but I recommend arrive by 6:30 as it's sure to get crowded. I will be taking the PATH train from the Christopher Street station, 135 Christopher St., at about 5:45 if you'd like to meet there. You can also get there from the World Trade Center station. Make sure you're on a Hoboken-bound train. Fare is $2 each way. http://www.panynj.gov/path/stations.html
Bring a blanket or towel to sit on and your dinner. The play is free but I assume tips are welcome at the end of the show.
