Lets support our South County Airport compadres. They are hosting the Wings of History Air Museum and San Martin Airport open house and fly-in May 18, 2013, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm at 12777 Murphy Ave, San Martin, CA, 95046 and San Martin Airport (South County Airport). Free admission. Free airplane and helicopter rides for kids 8-17 (Young Eagle program). Free tethered balloon rides from 7:00 am, weather permitting. Food available all day starting with a pancake breakfast at 8:00 am. Visit www.wingsofhistory.org
If we fly in for the event, they are offering free admission to the museum. It looks like fun. I have not had a chance to go to their museum but it looks like a great place to explore and it seems quite large in size for a small field.
Pancakes should be yummy and for all of us in northern California, the flight time is not too long and a great ride in.
As always, my Mooney has room and I am sure our flying members will be happy to open seats up as well.
Lets attend and show this group who we are and how well organized we are!!!!
