Why did you join this group?

To meet other pilots, my family and friends are sick of me talking about flying! I also love to share the flight experience with newbies. Just in this past month, I have taken up 3 potential / student pilots to show them the ropes. I love to share the sky and be a good GA ambassador.

Tell us an airport/restaurant you would love for us to fly in to.

Petaluma O69 the Two Niner Diner, the restaurants in Half Moon Bay near the airport, Shelter Cove, or Little River which has a new pilot shuttle to Mendocino.

What aircraft do you fly?

Tecnam Sierra, Citabria, Cessna 152, Cessna 172, Pipers, and a little time in a G-1000 as well - some others such as Cirrus and Bonanza - whatever I can get stick time in!!!

What led you to abandon logic and income to be a part of aviation?

I saw that silly show Flying Wild Alaska in January 2011 and thought if that guy John was a skateboarder from LA turned bush pilot then hell I can probably do it too.

What is your favorite flying memory?

My "discovery flight" over SF downtown, alcatraz, sailboats - we opened the Tecnam's cockpit and stuck our arms out the window and made arm snakes. Then he showed me zero G's - it was what made me begin flight school. My real training was not so fun - the Tecnam place went out of business - so I got stuck in another airport with a 152. Regardless, I got my cert and now love to fly when I can afford to.

I'm a Private Pilot flying out of Petaluma O69 Airport. Interested in meeting other pilots.... I'm also on a race/pit crew at the Reno Air Races every year . . . Angel Flight West member, EAA (2 chapters) member, Young Eagles pilot. . . .
