Indeed, was even a slog from miracle mile to Pasadena. Note that Amtraks run nearly hourly LA<->OC and metrolinks are sprinkled in there too. The San Juan Cap station has a few bars right next to it... something to think about. (Helps if you are in DT LA, sorry Santa Monica people you will have to wait until 2016 to get your subway to union station ;)

It's a good event.

BTW - Adam, et. al - if the next one's in OC - maybe start later/go later - it's a slog from LA (2+ hours) :)

This meetup is definitely one of my favorite things in the LA startup scene. Adam, Sasha, Liz & David - thank you all for putting these together. They're awesome.
Hi Martin, it's more relaxed. No speakers, just good people you can chat with in an environment that serves good food and drink. Everyone's friendly and we try to help each other with our startups' needs.
What's the format of the meetup? Will there be speakers?

Hey Folks just a quick reminder we have a carpool group leaving from South Coast Plaza with several more spots available. Ping me direct if you'd like to ride along.
Adam thats great news. Its hit or miss for me on Fridays, but it looks like I will be at this one. Watch out for the little old lady from pasadena!

Clint, not only will there be a future one somewhere in M-Th, but we're thinking the first such one will be in Orange County. :)

Darn it, is there some non-obvious reason these are always on Fridays? I think a lot of people have things going on on Fridays where they can't commit to the meetups, whereas M-Th are far more likely to be open.
