2nd Volunteer Opportunity at Juliet Fowler Retirement homes

Hello 20 & 30 somethings friends!

As most of you who have been a member here for any amount of time have noticed, this group has alot of fun and does alot of cool things! In my opinion this next meetup is no exception!

This time were going to visit the Juliet Fowler retirement homes. As the holidays approach and we begin making plans to see and spend time with family. Let's remember those who perhaps have no family to spend the holidays with. For those of us who are still lucky enough to have our grandparents around I'm sure you know how rewarding it is to spend time visiting with them. However unfortunately many of us do not live in the same city's or even state as them and don't get a chance to visit as much as we would like. So here is your opportunity to adopt a grandparent for the day and lend a couple short hours of your time to brighten the day of one of the Juliet Fowler residents and in turn probably hear some great stories about the life of someone who has both lived and experienced an entire lifetime more than us!

First we're going to meet at the Fowler’s Administration Center, building 1234, at 9a.m where we will also be joined by some of the members from the Dallas Junior Chamber.

Then our morning will be filled with resident interaction activities including escorting some of the Pearl Nordan Care Center residents to the activities room for visits, games, or just walks outside ie -Bingo, cards etc.
