Poolside at Doug Fir (MusicFestNW - Saturday night!)

Who wants to go to a Saturday night concert during MusicFestNW? There is a great band playing at the Doug Fir: Poolside, who describe their sound as Daytime Disco (sounds good at night too, though). Check them out on their Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/poolside

Here's the deal: Since it's part of MFNW, the show is only selling tickets at the door, DOS. Tickets are $15. The other way to get in is if you have a MFNW wristband (you can get one at the MFNW site, http://musicfestnw.com/tickets/) - but it's still room permitting even with a general wristband.

If you can plan on getting there a tad before 8 (I will probably shoot for 7:30-7:45) we can get a ticket before they sell out (I'm guessing it most likely will) and grab a drink if we like, before the show at 9.

Do you want to have an awesome music time? Come meetup!

So some bad news, Poolside had to cancel their show here due to one of the members suffering an injury. On the bright side, there is another good show that night at Wonder Ballroom at 10:30 - Chromatics followed by Glass Candy. I am thinking about going and if anyone else is interested, I'd be happy to host a meetup for it.

If you don't have a wristband, advance tickets are available (a little more at $28 after fees), which I would recommend since this show will probably sell out.

Let me know if you think you'd like to go. I will edit this page with the news.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
