With the end of the Mayan Long Count calender a little more than 18 months away on December 21, 2012, the fate of the planet seems to be hanging in the balance. Between natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis, economic systems breaking down, like Greece's, the ever worsening Arab-Israeli conflict, global warming, not to mention domestic problems such as a ballooning national debt as well as a healthcare system in disarray, there are no shortages of crises. The Mayan prophecies foretold us of major changes. Now, perhaps, we are listening.

"But what can I do?" Really, there are two choices... You can either help shift planetary consciousness, which is the ONLY solution to all of these problems, or you can choose NOT to. Choosing to do nothing, or choosing to continue to live as a material person in the material world, is akin to choosing NOT to help shift planetary consciousness. The problem is that MOST people will choose this path...It is a path that will inevitably lead to an uninhabitable planet...

 It has been stated that if enough people shift their OWN consciousness, similar to the 99th monkey theory, the consciousness of the planet will shift in kind. At least two estimates have been bantered around...one is 6000 people, and the other is 144,000 people. One method of "ascending," or shifting consciousness, has been presented to R Mackenzie in the book "Metatron" The Clarion Call: The Ultimate Guide for Lightworkers. The process is simple, but not easy.

Archangel Metatron is considered by some to be the angel closest to God. It has even been written that it is he, and not God, that responds to people's prayers. He is one of only two angels that was ever mortal.  He was Enoch the prophet, until he ascended and became Metatron. One of his tasks is to record and organize the Akashic Records.
