Potluck Brunch and Crochet Workshop

Hey Guys,

This week we are going to try something new. We have talked about this recently at a few meet-ups, but we are actually putting it into action now. Once a month, we plan to have a meet up at a member's house where we focus on teaching a specific needlework skill.

Since so many people have showed interest in learning to crochet, I will host the first one of these meet ups at my house in Bethesda and I'll teach crochet. For those who aren't interested in learning crochet, we will definitely have members knitting as well. So, don't let that put you off! Also, this will be a potluck. I plan on making banana pancakes and brunch cocktails. Feel free to post what you plan on bringing on the site so that there is variation.

My address is 4616 Nottingham Dr, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. For those driving, there is free street parking. For those coming via metro, take the red line towards Shady Grove and stop at the Bethesda metro stop. From there you can either walk or take a short bus ride. The walk is about 10 minutes straight down Wisconsin Ave. in the direction of Friendship Heights. If you want to take a bus, get on the 34 towards Friendship Heights and get off right after the intersection of Bradley and Wisconsin, which drops you off at the top of my street.
