Mittenfields w. Gray Young and Left & Right @ Black Cat

About:

Mittenfields are a DC home grown rock band that has garnered serious media attention from the local music blogs over the last few years. I'm curious to see if this band really does live up to the hype. Start off your work week on your musical foot by heading down to Black Cat to hang out!

Here's a take on their sound via their Facebook page:

"Combining a densely layered three guitar attack with raw, nervy vocals, Mittenfields have drawn comparisons to some of the best indie rock acts of the 1990s. Far from an exercise in pure nostalgia, however, the DC?based ensemble has crafted its own unique sound combining elements of indie rock, shoegaze and noise pop."

General Show Info:

Tickets are $10, which can be bought via Black Cat's site http://www.blackcatdc.com/schedule.html . Doors open at 8p. More detailed information about this meet will be sent to attendees as the date gets closer!
