Thanks for all you've done for this group so far. I've met some really great people through it. So here are my well thought out answers to your questions. ;)
Frequency--I do like the recurring happy hours. I know there is a huge difference in attendance but at least once a month we get a fairly large group, which is a testament to the hard work you have put into organizing. I would say change the frequency to monthly but I worry that may cause a drop off of people if they can't make that particular day. I think it is fine to have two and if one ends up small or doesn't happen then that is fine too.
Day--I like Thursdays only because it is a night that a lot of people go out so it's conducive to going out after the happy hour. Plus I usually have a later start on Friday so it works out. I do have to miss a Zumba class on Thursdays for it though and I wouldn't want you to have to miss them. You're our leader!!! So maybe Wednesday?
Location--Houlihan's is convenient for me and I think for a lot of people. Taphouse is closer to me but we might lose some folks that are more centrally located. And I just like the atmosphere at Houlihan's better. Also, I'm not a beer drinker and I like the happy hour martini specials at Houlihan's. There's just more of a selection there.
I think that about does it. That's what you get for asking a lawyer their opinion. No straight answers.

Subject: [20s-30s-CoMo] happy hour changes (?)
To All -
As I'm sure you've noticed, we have a bi-monthly Thursday happy hour. At the time I started the event, Thursday was the only day I was available to host. My schedule has now changed, and I am unable to host the happy hour anymore (roller derby practice). Before I change plans for everyone based on my schedule, what do you all think?
- Do you even like having a recurring happy hour? Attendance varies greatly and no one is ever sure of who will show up.
- If so, do you want to stick with Thursdays? I cannot meet you there, so someone else would have to step up to be the "meet and greet" point, or you would have to find each other. Would another day of the week be better? Again, I couldn't guarantee my schedule, but perhaps a different day would be a better choice for the group.
- Would anyone object to moving the location to 1837 Taphouse? It's smaller, but their beer specials are good, the food is tastier, and it's a local business rather than a national chain.
Any and all responses are welcome, either via the message board or direct email to me. This group is meant for YOU, so please tell me what YOU would like to have happen!
