Not everybody can sing.

Not everybody can write.

Not everyone has the spunk, time, or capacity to learn an instrument.

Among those whose personal box of 64 contains some or every shaded brilliance of ability/talent/gift listed above, not every stick of colored wax gets employed, leaving forever a forest of unframed blank whiteness--empty sketchbooks of unaccomplished images, never attempted, never begun.

The greatest human challenge is to passionately own up to who one are. . . take a leap of faith. . . risk everything for the chance to spreading our wings. . . perhaps to fly. . . perchance to even soar.

If you suspect there is a kernel of possibility that music lives inside you that longs to be set free, then you are on the right page.

3C&T is a group of singer/songwriters from in andaround the Knoxville, TN area.  We meet to socialize, network, and share our energy, frustrations, support, techniques, and supportive critique with one another.

Songwriters are all about packaging and selling the sausage coming out the music side of life's Hurdy Gurdy, after all the feelings, emotions, experiences, dreams, disappointments, memories, reflections, joys, pains, parents, children, lovers, haters, births, deaths, hangovers, layoffs, rewards, and betrayals have been poured into the body, mind, soul, and spirit and ground into melody and lyrics.

Friends, family, and lovers are fine and dandy, but artistic, creative music types need outlets and connections for being with our own kind.  In spite of what the normies tell us, behaviors such as talking in rhyme, speaking in puns, quoting old songs, and singing in public are neither deviant or abnormal.  Manic?   The jury is still out.  All the stuff we call life happens outside of the creative process.  Singers and songwriters. . . we have a tendency to groove over what goes on inside.  3C&T seeks to provide a venue for folks like ourselves to enjoy each others company, and most of all, to enjoy simply being the beautiful creative uniqueness of who we each really are.
