Shanon Dean and Rebecca Miller are the original duo behind the 30 Something Dames. We’re just a couple of young crafty, thrifty and adventurous ladies.  Shanon puts “Suzy Homemaker” to shame and Rebecca is often referred to as “Becky Crocker”.

Shanon has also started an Urban Homestead with her husband and they have 27 laying chickens, 20 meat chickens, rabbits, and well on their way to getting goats, muscovy ducks, and bees. There are 34 fruit trees, veggie gardens galore and composting bins going up around the 1/3 acre.


We’re crazy about whipping up exciting dishes to tantalize the taste buds, treasure hunting at thrift stores, garage sales and flea markets, getting crafty with beads, sewing, canning, cheese making, card-making and scrapbooking, and setting sail for adventures like camping, mushroom hiking, wine-tasting and picnics.  But sometimes, we get our competitive bugs jumping and have fun going head to head with board games, cards and pool.  One thing’s for sure, there is never a dull moment with the 30 Something Dames!


If you are between the ages of 20-50 and looking to join a group of socially conscious, environmentally responsible and fun, crafty young women then your search is over!  The 30 Something Dames would love to welcome you to our group.
