3D Printing and Robotics!

2014 has been extremly busy so far, but no matter how busy, it's time for all 3D printing fans in Paris to gather for a new Meetup.

For our 12th Meetup , we decided to organize an event around 3D printing and robotics . Since you often ask about concrete achievements permitted by 3D printing, we invited a number of players involved in robotics that use 3D printing to join us.

Demonstration of robots, presentations 3D printed parts, 3D printers and printed objects are scheduled.

What is the program?

The first part of the evening will be devoted to the presentation of their projects by participants of the " Redecorate your room " Sculpteo contest on Studyka (http://studyka.com/en/challenges/challenge-sculpteo) platform. Each participating team is invited to come and present the project she submitted to the competition .

Then robotics begins with three guests :

• Damien Gautier and Maillard Nestelhut from the robotics club RobotX (http://www.robot-x.org/)

• The team of the Association '' Eolipyle (http://eolipyle.fr/)

• Stéphane Bonnard-Cantegreil who runs Cogibot (http://www.cogibot.com/)

This meetup will be an opportunity to see practical applications of 3D printing as well as robots in action.

It is also the time to share a beer.

Robocop just went out in the theatres this week. So if you need to put yourself in the mood for badass robots, go see it and come back to this meetup geared up to see some amazing stuff. ;)

2014 a commencé sur des chapeaux de roues, c’est maintenant le moement de prendre le temps de se réunir et d’inviter tous les fans d’impression 3D à un nouveau Meetup.

Pour notre 12ème Meetup, nous avons choisi d’organiser un évènement autour de l’impression 3D et de la robotique. Puisque vous êtes souvent nombreux à vous questionner sur les réalisations concrètes permises par l’impression 3D, nous avons invité un certain nombre d’acteurs de la robotique qui utilisent l’impression 3D à se joindre à nous. Démonstration de robots, présentations des pièces imprimées en 3D, imprimantes 3D et objets imprimés sont au programme.

Quel est le programme ?

La première partie de la soirée sera consacrée à la présentation de leur projets par les participants au concours « Redecorate your room » de Sculpteo sur la plateforme Studyka (http://studyka.com/en/challenges/challenge-sculpteo). Chaque équipe participante est invitée à venir présenter le projet qu’elle a soumis lors du concours.

Ensuite les hostilités commenceront avec trois invités :

• L’équipe de l’'association Eolipyle (http://eolipyle.fr/)

• Stéphane Bonnard-Cantegreil qui dirige Cogibot (http://www.cogibot.com/)

Ce meetup sera donc l’occasion de voir des applications concrètes de l’impression 3D et de voir des robots en action.

Ce sera aussi le moment de faire des rencontres en échangeant autour d’une bière.
