Catch Paris in 3D @ Autodesk Pop-up Gallery

A l'occasion du 16ème Meetup de Sculpteo, nous vous invitons à une édition spéciale en collaboration avec la galerie éphémère Autodesk (http://www.autodesk.fr/campaigns/gallerypopup) à Paris afin de "Capturer Paris en 3D".

Armés de vos smartphones et de l'application 123D Catch (http://www.123dapp.com/catch), l'objectif sera de saisir ce qui fait le charme et la réputation de Paris pour constituer des fichiers 3D qui seront imprimés pour le 3D Printshow à Paris (http://3dprintshow.com/).

Programme:

• 11:00 à 12:00 : Arrivée à la Galerie et tour rapide de l'exposition pour découvrir les installations. Echanges autour d'un café avec les équipes de Sculpteo et d'Autodesk.

• 12:00 à 13:00 : Présentation de l'application 123D Catch et manipulation pour devenir un expert de la création de fichiers 3D avec son smartphone.

• 13:00 à 15:00: Départ vers différents lieux autour de la Galerie afin de réaliser un maximum de scans 3D en 2h.

• 15:00 à 16:00: Retour à la galerie pour charger l'ensemble des photos et obtenir les fichiers 3D compilés grâce à l'application.

Les fichiers seront retouchés par les équipes de Sculpteo et d'Autodesk afin d'être exposés une semaine plus tard lors du 3D Printshow à Paris.

Nous tentons d'obtenir des invitations au 3D Printshow pour l'ensemble des participants du Meetup afin qu'ils puissent découvrir ces "souvenirs de Paris".

Le nombre de places est limité à 70 afin de pouvoir se déplacer en groupes restreints dans Paris avec au moins un membre de Sculpteo ou d'Autodesk.

Les participants (ou groupe de participants - jusqu'à +2) devront venir avec leur smartphone iOS ou Android et avoir téléchargé l'application gratuite 123D Catch.

You’re invited! Join Sculpteo during our sweet 16th Meetup which will be cosponsored by the Autodesk Gallery Pop-up (http://www.autodesk.com/campaigns/gallerypopup). The theme of this meetup is going to be “Capture Paris in 3D”.

Armed with only your smartphone (and the 123D Catch app (http://www.123dapp.com/catch)), the objective will be to capture the cultural charm and excitement of Paris in 3D files. We’ll then take those files and print them for this year’s 3D Printshow in Paris (http://3dprintshow.com/).

Program:

• 11:00-12:00am : Arrive at the Autodesk Gallery in Paris for a quick tour of the location, exhibitions and installations. Enjoy a cup of coffee with both the Autodesk and Sculpteo teams.

• 12:00-01:00pm : A presentation on the 123D Catch app, learn the tips and tricks to become an expert of 3D file creation on a smartphone.

• 01:00-03:00pm : Explore the area surrounding the gallery and gather as many 3D files as possible within the two hour period.

03:00-04:00pm : Return to the gallery for photo uploading and create the files in 3D.

The files will be retouched by the Sculpteo and Autodesk teams before the are shown in the 3D Printshow in Paris.

We hope to acquire tickets to the 3D Prinshow Paris for each of the participants. So, at the very least, they can hold their captures in their hands!

The meetup is limited to 70 participants so that each of the participants is able to explore the city with at least one member of either the Sculpteo or Autodesk team.
