3D Print with Photoshop CC: From 2D to 3D

DESCRIPTION

Adobe Photoshop CC allows you to turn beautiful graphics into 3D. The 3D editing tool is now very powerful and intuitive. In this workshop you will learn how to convert 2D drawings into printable 3D object all done in Photoshop CC. If you are not ready to get into 3D modeling softwares, this workshop would be a perfect place to start your 3D experience!

After the workshop you will receive a customized 3D printed phonestand designed by yourself ;)

*Please bring your own laptop and install Photoshop CC trial version

Prerequisite: Basic Photoshop skills is a plus, but not required.

Harvey Chung - Former Yale School of Architecture Digital Fabrication Lab Technician and Tutor. Harvey holds a masters degree in architecture from Yale University. He is an architect, product designer and project manager with 10+ years of digital design, modelling, fabrication and 3d printing experience. His earliest stint in digital fabrication began when he was studying at the University of Michigan in 2004. Few years later, he starting working as a technician and tutor at the Yale School of Architecture’s digital fabrication lab in 2009. Professionally, he has been working as a lead designer and project manager for world renowned architects and high profile architecture offices.

Harvey is currently the course director and partner of 3D Forge, a leading provider in Hong Kong for 3D printers, “printing on demand” services, and education. You can find more information about us here! (http://www.3dforge.com.hk/)
