The world famous turtle races at Brennan's Pub (https://www.brennanspub-la.com/) are held every Thursday at 10:00 pm....
Rules of Turtle Racing -

If you would like to compete, bring $5 in cash to enter the race. When you enter, you are allowed to pick one of Brennan's turtle to compete. You may also bring your own turtle to compete.

Turtles are classified into one of seven divisions (from Midget to Monster).

Once you enter the competition, you will be required to place the turtle in the contestant ring without bending your knees! Guys, I suggest you select a chick to do that deed....

"Don't point at the turtles!". If you point at a turtle, you will be required to donate money to the charity jar.... so don't point or bring cash!

If your turtle wins, you will be the lucky recipient of either some hemorrhoid cream, tampons, or a new pair of tighty-whities.
NOTE: Turtles caught using performance enhancing drugs will be disqualified and prohibited from further racing.
There is also live entertainment (a band) and dance floor in the pub. In addition, if the turtle racing bores you, you can go inside and play pool or darts.
