This meetup started out in game development, but the more I see artists join, the more I think it would be ideal to specialize in 3D art. That is why it has been retitled as "3D Art & Design". This should be a place to ask questions about 3D! Maybe you need help on a special effect, or modeling technique, or perhaps you're interested in how to become a designer, or level designer? That's what the forums are for.

Post your work, or link to a page, and let us see what you're working on. This meetup group will get busier around Winter time as most of us are on our computers more then instead of enjoying the warm weather seasons.

Programmers welcome! People making games need art assets, so if you're a programmer, you're more than welcome to stick around and ask for models and textures. Be sure to check out the "3D Art Jobs" and post something you need, or are interested in using for your game.
