This group is all about meeting up with like minded riders and riding our motorcycles. This group is for riders wanting to get together with other riders and ride either on planned rides such as charity rides and support rides or just free wheeling down the road for a great steak or plate full of Mexican food, I want to limit the rides to one day affairs but am not against overnight jaunts on the week end with good planning. I hope to hear any input on how to make the group prosper and become a regular thing in Springfield, mo. and the surrounding area. We only have a few simple rules.


1. Don't wear any affiliation colors when we free ride, I don't care if your a Christian organization or the Hells angels, this group is not about affiliation its just about riding, you can wear your colors on the charity rides and support rides, but if we are just out riding or going to a dinner spot no colors.

2. No public drunkenness, we just don't need that stigma for this group, don't get me wrong I like a nice margarita with my food but if your out to get drunk, ride else where.

3. No trash talking in public, again we just don't need that stigma for this group, keep it civil.

4. I don't care what kinda bike you ride, be it Honda, Harley, BMW, etc. If you own an Enduro bike and you can go highway speed then your in, this group is not about what you ride, period!!!! There is no age or experience level restrictions. We try to set up rides for all skill levels from long, all day rides to shorter rides. All or welcome. .

SO YOU DON’T, OR CAN’T RIDE MUCH That‘s OK. You don’t have to go on rides to be a part of the group. You are more than welcome to participate on the message board.

AFTER YOU JOIN, please fill out your profile page, upload a picture of you, your bike, or both. (this is not mandatory, just suggested). However, it is the best way for a ride organizer to recognize you when you show up at a ride for the first time. We do understand that not everyone has the ability to upload photos. Just remember that you get out of this group what you put into it so jump right in and get acquainted with everyone.


RE-READ MEETUP.COM’S terms of service, especially section 6. You agreed to it in order to use this site. You may not have read it, but you had to check the box that said you did. In general, section 6 says if an organizer or any member places a ride on the calendar and you get lost or something, it's your own fault.

YOU bear sole responsibility for everything and anything that happens on any ride with us. Organizers, 417MC. as a whole and Meetup.com are not liable or responsible for anything.

Everyone is here voluntarily and of their own free will. You bear the responsibility for any passengers you take on your motorcycle. You ride at your own risk.

Ride your own ride! If for some reason you are not comfortable with any aspect of the ride or the destination, it is expected that you leave the group and proceed on your own. Please let either the lead Rider or Sweep ( last ) Bike know that you are dropping out.........
