What we’re about

American 4x4 Patriots, Conservatives 4 (x4) Conservation, Military 4x4 Excursions, Law Enforcement 4x4 Tactical Maneuvers, Don't Tread on Me 4x4 Group would all be great names for this group.

Don't fall for the typical stereotypes, many of our members are ex-military or law enforcement personnel but we are proud to say we have people from all walks of life in the group. Most members in the group do carry because they were raised having a sidearm. We ask that you are comfortable with that, or we are probably not the right group for you.

If you are a beginner to 4wheeling and believe in Patriotism and America values this will be a great group for you. Organizer is a Mexican American 23-year veteran of Texas Law Enforcement. We are made up of 4x4 enthusiast looking to explore the back roads of Colorado. We will explore "Moderate" 4x4 trails in the spring and summer and trek through snow covered "Easy Passes" in the Winter & Fall months. This group is for anyone that would like to see what their STOCK SUV can do. WE ARE NOT ROCK CRAWLERS, but we are a great bunch of people just looking to get out and explore the back roads of Colorado.

*This group is probably not right for you if you have a heavily modified Rig. Please consider other groups on meetup, that will probably challenge you more and provide you with more fun.

The group is all about getting stuck in the mud, getting wet at water crossings, sliding, and winching through the snow and enjoying each other’s company on annual trips to Moab, Sedona, and other far-off destinations. We are about building friendships without alcohol, 420 or drugs allowing on our treks. If you have admiration for the outdoors, meeting challenges as a group and conquering trails most Coloradans don't get the chance to see than this is the right group for you.

Most of our treks start at 9 am and end around 7 pm. I ask that if you commit to attending you stay until the end, because if you depart early, we cannot ensure your safety back to the main road. We typically go out to dinner after each trek and get to know each other outside our rig, but attendance is optional.

Because we perform more treks {average 26 per year since 2007} than any other 4x4 group I do require everyone to attend at least 1 trek every 90 days. If you are too busy to attend, you will be dismissed from the group but may re-rejoin once your schedule frees up.

We have an annual membership donation request of $20, that will never be asked for, if you can assist great, if not, thanks for coming out and joining us. We have group swag that is passed out at treks, such as group bumper sticker, pens, logo patches, name plates, flags, and candy to enjoy on the treks.

If you wish to join, please apply for membership by emailing the organizer and letting him know how you heard about the group. This is a family-oriented group with no drinking, no smoking, no 420 and no drugs or cursing allowed.  We have children on our outings and wish to pass on responsible behavior to our next generation.

A CB radio in your rig is highly recommended so you can enjoy the chatter on the trails, and we can discuss how to tackle the next obstacle.

We look forward to seeing you on our next trip.
