This group is for anyone that enjoys the back roads of Colorado. We will explore "Moderate" 4x4 trails in the spring and summer; and trek through snow covered "Easy Passes" in the Winter & Fall months. This group is for anyone that would like to see what their STOCK SUV can do. WE ARE NOT ROCK CRAWLERS but we are a great bunch of people just looking to get out and explore the dirt roads of Colorado.
I hope you will take the time to view our photo albums as well as read the comments our members have posted.
We are all about getting dirty, getting stuck, getting wet, climbing 30 degree inclines and helping each other overcome obstacles we would not venture to attempt on our own. We are about building a friendship built on mutual admiration for the outdoors, meeting challenges as a group and conquering trails the majority of Coloradans don't get the chance to see.
Most of our treks start at 9 am and end around 7 pm. Each leg of the day is optional and if your time is limited we understand if you have to depart before the trek is officially over. We typically go out to dinner after each trek and get to know each other but once again this is optional for everyone that has time.
Because we do more than any other 4x4 group, by way of photographs, videos, group logo decals, t-shirts and cups we do ask for a minimum participation fee of $1 per person @ each trek...or $20 for a rolling 12 month calendar year. You will receive the group logo decal for your vehicle for the $20 annual participation fee or be able to purchase all group memorabilia on its own. Each trek you will receive a participant roster, trek description and maps so you are confident in what we will be doing that day.
New members please apply for membership/sponsorship by emailing the organizer and letting him know how you heard about our group, tell us if you know any of our members and what your looking for in a 4x4 group. We look forward to seeing you on our next trek.
