Welcome to the 4x4 Rough Riders!

This is a great group of people. Very down to earth, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, easy going, and just a ton of fun!

Our goal is to get together, have fun, laugh, and have a good time, all while doing it safely and respecting each other.

We do not have "typical monthly meetings," as this is not a restaurant/bar social club. Our meetings are Meetups, we meet out on the trail or at the campground. There are times we will meet at a common point to caravan out to the Meetup.

We also do not have required community service activities. All of this helps for those of us who have very busy lifestyles. It enables us to get right to the fun!!

I am a big supporter of belonging to the California 4 Wheel Drive Association. This Association works very hard to keep our trails open so we can continue having fun. Many of the outings posted are Cal 4 Wheel outings, and membership to Cal 4 Wheel is required. We also do have private outings that are post here.

In order to join this group you do have to have a trail ready 4x4 H/L range vehicle, this can be stock or modified.
On your Meetup profile you will also need a picture of your vehicle and a face picture of yourself so we may readily identify you at the Meetup. You are also required to have your email function activated so that we may contact you.

There is a Message Board that has Disclaimers and Notices. It is your responsibility to read them, in joining this group, it means you have read them and fully agree with them.
