tess, could you post a waiting list, please? It doesn't require extra work for you--it operates automatically--and it's standard practice for most meetups where too many people want to go.

I'm sure we'll have some people change their RSVP to no...that'll open up some spots.
That's true. The advantage of a waiting list, though, is that one gets transferred automatically onto the going list as soon as a spot opens up.
Without a wait list, one must check frequently to get in as soon as the spot opens up. It really isn't hard to open a waiting list.
But it's up to you, of course.
I though I had RSVP for this. I hope a spot opens up. Perhaps, anyone who did not get a spot can still go separately to event as it is a cultural event? I'm wondering if it is just open to anyone in public if room allows.
