STATEN ISLAND Museum then a PUB

We'll be aboard the STATEN ISLAND FERRY.
The SI Ferry is free.
NOTE: Please dress appropriately for the weather. Proper footwear recommended for walking activity.
This event will involve walking and stairs, if you will have difficulty with this physical activity, this event is NOT recommended.
EVENT is rain, shine or snow. Inclement weather at your own risk.
PHOTOGRAPHY: There should be natural light w/o rain or inclement weather. Feel free to bring binoculars.
We will meet in front of the newsstand located on the MANHATTAN side of the Staten Island Ferry.
When we get to Staten Island, we will visit:
Waterfront views of Manhattan and distant view of the Robbins Reef Lighhouse.
- An abandoned Coast Guard base.
- POSTCARDS 911 Memorial
- Staten Island Museum 75 Stuyvesant Place Staten Island, NY
- Baker Square: Barrett Triangle, Baker Square and St.George Theater and Steiney's.
If you are driving, meet us at the Staten Island Ferry WAITING AREA by the AQUARIUMs (STATEN ISLAND SIDE) at 1:45pm.
COST for the Staten Island Museum - Recommended admission for adults is $3.00, Students and Seniors $2.00 and free for children under 12. Tickets will be purchased there.

Feel free to join us at JIMMIE STEINY's pub at 3 Hyatt Street Staten Island, NY
Jimmie Steiny's is walking distance from the museum and ferry terminal.
We will be at the bar and bar area, no tabled seating. Food and beverage purchases on your own accord.
We might not return to Manhattan as a group, so please check the SI Ferry schedule leaving the St.George (Staten Island) Ferry Terminal. http://www.siferry.com

MarcIt was fantastic. This was my first time being on Staten Island as a tourist, and not driving through it as quick as possible. There were amazing photo opportunities as well as a lot of interesting things to be learned. After we went to a pub, and that was nice and relaxing.
