Yale-New Haven Hospital Diaper Challenge- We encourage all runners to bring a package of diapers to the race to donate to The Diaper Bank. Yale-New Haven Hospital will match (up to 15,000) the diapers donated by race participants.  The Diaper Bank seeks to provide diapers to as many needy children as possible. They are a local, volunteer driven non-profit organization dedicated to helping young children and their families in New Haven, Bridgeport and Hartford.  For every package of diapers you bring, you will be given a raffle ticket, good for a chance to win a special prize, courtesy of WPLR.

Fundraise  Raise $100 or more for The Diaper Bank for a free entry into this year’s race.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
