LOCATION: Gabrielle Roth's 5Rhythms ® Saturday morning class is held at New York Live Arts (used to be named Dance Theater Workshop, DTW), 219 West 19th Street, north side of the street, between 7th and 8th Avenues, 3rd Floor NY, NY 10011. We can see the Empire State Building!
TIME: Class is from 10am to noon.
Fee: $20 ($15 for students with full-time, valid ID)
We will be dancing to music from around the world. We generally begin with stretching, and then proceed moving through a wave of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. There will be some teaching, and usually dance a second wave.
Come to discover your body again. Come to practice being focused and clear. Come to let go of whatever you are holding onto from your week. Come to lighten up and dance with joy. Come to move with the peaceful inhale and exhale of your breath.
