This purpose of our Meetup is to listen as a group to the brilliant, articulate recorded lectures of Kenneth Wapnick, a virtuoso teacher of ACIM. Having worked directly with Helen Schucman in editing her original "inner dictations" of the Course, Wapnick has been studying and teaching ACIM perhaps longer than any living individual. A presenter of blazing intellect and daunting speaking ability, Wapnick has a deep grasp of ACIM and much to teach us about its spiritual meaning and psychological wisdom.

A Course in Miracles appeals to many spiritual seekers who have outgrown religion. Although ACIM does use Christian terminology, it utilizes it symbolically in non-religious context. It is a decidedly non-religious, non-evangelical, non-church spiritual path. The Course teaches there is no world, that our collective Mind is dreaming a dream that is not true, and that through forgiveness we remove the blocks to remembering our true Self and awakening from the dream.
