Blue Whale Boat Trip in Ventura Bay - August 27 - BOOK NOW!!!

Island Packers (map)

Selected By: Jennifer

Blue Whale watching is one of the MOST amazing things I've ever done.I went with this company 2 times and it was spectacular both times!  Each time we fired up our mystical mojo and called the whales in. BOTH TIMES, the Captain of the boat said he'd never had so many sightings in one trip. (I find that the Captain often says something like that when I go on a whale watch!)

The experience last year was beyond amazing, beyond thrilling!

We also saw at least a THOUSAND dolphins on one trip! It was a truly memorable day each time!

Let's go on a whale watch together! It's an ALL DAY adventure. You'll want to bring a picnic lunch to eat on the boat. We can carpool from L.A. or you can meet us there We'll need to be in Ventura by about 8:15am so we'll need to leave early - the trip is basically on the boat from 9 to 6 and then we can have dinner together there in Ventura Harbor. There are lots of little shops and it's fun to stroll and window shop and then have dinner.

To join us, you will have to make your own reservation and pay over the phone - this is the only way to get a ticket. The whale watch company is called Island Packers and they will probably sell out as they only offer one Saturday outing per month. You can call to reserve here: [masked]. They are open every day from 8am to 5pm - when you call press 0 to bypass the outgoing message  - Ticket prices for the Whale Watch only are: $72 Adults,  $65 Seniors and $54 Under 12.  Bring the kids!!

You can learn more about whale watching from Island Packer's website here: http://islandpackers.com/whalewatch.html Please feel free to share with friends! This is a very memorable experience - it's the perfect time for all of us to remember how important the ocean and her residents are. If you have any questions, send me an email at [masked] Be sure to RSVP here after you reserve - we can arrange for carpools as the date gets closer. Hope to see you there! Things to bring besides your own picnic lunch and beverages - think ocean, boating, sunblock, hats, jackets (it's cooler on the water) binoculars, cameras, sneakers + boat appropriate shoes, sunglasses.  If you get sea sick bring Dramamine or something like that.  Take caution, seasickness is no fun!
