Welcome To All Seeking Inner Peace

This Meetup Group is devoted to undoing the ego and learning a new thought system presented by A Course In Miracles, leading to increased inner peace. Through our group study, sharing and support we will learn to think in a new way and experience subtle yet profound changes in our attitudes and points of view. We will learn together to undo the mind set of separation, guilt, discontent, fear, anxiety and anger to one of acceptance, and forgiveness. In the Introduction of the text it states that it is a course of undoing: "The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love's presence, which is your natural inheritance." So the focus with our group study will be removing the negative thought system of sin, guilt and fear. We will also be able to remove interference in our subtle energetic fields through the use of an acoustic sound clearing at the beginning of our meetup, before our group study.

Six years ago I started reading A Course In Miracles. I wanted a miracle in my life! I wanted to make some deep inner changes in my attitude and point of view. I was inspired to ask a friend if she wanted to join me in my weekly study and daily application because I thought it would reinforce and strengthen my own experience. We met for awhile, then the woman upstairs wanted to join us, then another friend, and then another and another. So I offered my place as a meeting place for those who were also interested in undoing the ego, using the Course material as a foundation for understanding this process. We used our daily life experience to help us apply the wisdom and truth gained in the Course. This has been and continues to be a miraculous journey where we all have grown in the ability to take personal responsibility, ask for help, forgive ourselves and forgive others. I wanted to start a group with MeetUp because I want to meet and share with more people interested in going beyond the ego. I have found that a group definitely enhances and broadens ones personal experience. I would like to organize meetups at least twice a month.

The purpose of our meetups will be focused on undoing the ego through group study, discussion and sharing of A Course In Miracles. Also the purpose of our meetings will include using the Corridor of Sound, comprised of 50 acoustic chimes, to facilitate the release of stress and blocks in our energetic fields. It has been found that the overtones generated from the pure acoustic sound instruments used in my sound practice, Sacred Sound Soulutions, effortlessly facilitate the release of the blocks to inner peace. So naturally I wanted to include using it as a part of our meetup. The harmonic wave of energy produced by the Corridor of Sound, spontaneously brings you to an inner silence that serves as an experiential field and foundation for understanding the thought system presented in A Course In Miracles. The combination of A Course In Miracles supported by the spontaneous, effortless clearing activated by the Corridor of Sound, is a powerful way to facilitate the release of fear based patterning, clearing the way for forgiveness and the experience of love's presence.
