A mindful approach to life can, in many cases, be the difference between merely surviving every day and living a rich and deeply satisfying life. Ineffective and, sometimes, self-destructive attempts to deal with stress, in all its myriad and various manifestations, are often the cause of much unnecessary suffering. Mindfulness is an inborn, innate quality and strength that we all have but it needs to be cultivated. It was a desire to provide a place for this cultivation that was the impetus behind the founding of A Mindful Place. Through A Mindful Place, it is our intention to offer various opportunities for people to explore and learn evidence-based and research-supported approaches to living in a stress-filled world more skillfully. There have been, and continue to be, exciting findings on the efficacy of the blending of ancient Eastern philosophical and Western scientific approaches to dealing with stress. You are warmly invited to join us. By doing so, it is our ardent hope that your world may become a bit larger, your vision a bit brighter and your appreciation and enjoyment of what noted poet, Mary Oliver describes as "this one wild and precious life" you've been given, a bit more real and genuine. .....Give us a call at 678-719-8511 and schedule your complimentary tour of our center. We'll look forward to meeting you and sharing what we have to offer... In the meantime, may you be happy, healthy, safe and live this moment with greater ease, With warm best wishes, Pamela Barge, MS. LPC, NCC, DCC, CPCS Director

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
