Well I have finally returned from my European vacation and race. Glad to be home and can't wait to see everyone!
Here is your schedule for this week, and I realize it's late (I couldn't post from Amsterdam where I was stuck! ) so hopefully you have been following your schedules.
Sun = 3 miles
Mon = 3 +15 min foundation
Tues = Off
Wed = 4 +15 min foundation
Th = 35 min foundation only
Fri = Off
Saturday we will run 6 miles. Remember to hydrate before (that means start Thursday!), eat something at least 1 hour before (banana, power bar, toast w/peanut butter are some good choices) and bring your water. We will meet at the park, but run off the trail a bit. You may also want to have some beans, GU, shot bloks for the run. Even though it's 6, it will take you past 1 hour as you are NOT running at race pace.

"Training is doing your homework. It's not exciting. More often than not, it's tedious. There is certainly no glory in it. But you stick with it, over time, and incrementally through no specific session, your body changes. Your mind becomes callous through effort. You start thinking of running as difficult or interesting or magical. It just becomes what you do. It becomes a habit."
