RA 101, 5K Training

BOOOOOO! We can't go to the Rose Bowl! There's a mud run going on that day and I don't want to pay $10 for parking and I'm sure you wouldn't want to either. We'll just do it next week, but not do the extra special run. You can do that with a different coach.

Today, we are going out for 65 (what?! yeh-yea! okay!) whole minutes at our 4:1 intervals. It's our longest run of the session. Someone (no names mentioned) used to text me before every run and ask, "Are we doing hills? I can't do hills." Lo and behold, I would see them show up and kill hills. So the short answer is yes, we are doing hills. Get your rest, eat breakfast, no fainting or dizziness (cough, cough-you know who you are), and bring your water. It's going to be a long one.
