Dynamic Type

OS7 introduced us to called “Dynamic Type”. Using this technology, apps can dynamically react to users’ text size preferences by adjusting the size of displayed text content. This enhances readability and makes your apps more accessible. This talk will provide an overview of this technology and will walk you through the steps to support this capability within your iOS apps.

Priya Rajagopal has been professionally building software for over 14 years spanning a variety of technologies. Her current focus is on mobile development. She is a Principal Software Developer at Barracuda Networks and in her own time, does iOS app development, consulting and mentoring through her company, Lunaria Software. Pixate

Pixate was founded in May 2012 by Paul Colton and Kevin Lindsey with the goal of enabling designers and developers alike to quickly and easily create beautiful, native mobile interfaces. Today Leo Dion will be giving a basic tutorial on how to start using Freestyle, as well as its features, issues, and how it can fit in your mobile development process.

Leo Dion is a freelance mobile and web consultant who lives in Lansing. He started his company BrightDigit in 2012 and specializes in JavaScript and iOS development.
