Stress has such an affect on us - physical, mental, relational, professional - the impact can snowball you into a zone of tension. Aside from getting professional aid, there are self-help tools that can soften your edges. Walking in nature, sitting and moving meditations, stretches, muscle tension release points, writing or telling your story through poetry and using comedy ... can add a satisfying flow into your mix. As we step away from the stress in a healthy way, this meetup group is designed to offer you moments of spatial ease so we can return to our everyday in a more balanced way. We will not be focusing on the stress, rather get involved in healthy pratices that support managing and letting go of the stressors. So what will it be: Planning a walk, sharing meditation techniques, having a poetry/comedy session, doing stretches or yoga together... simply sharing approaches to de-stressing.
