:D Had a good time with good people. We talked about idea for future events and how to promote the group. We did a demo on how to make plarn and made a new friend. It was great meeting you Jess and seeing Kevin, Dorothy & Chrissy again!

Sorry I missed this! I usually get out of work at 6, and I had hoped to leave earlier, but wasn't able to make tonight's meetup! I will endeavor to make future events.

I'll have a few plastic bags and scissors to demo how to make the plarn and roll it into a ball. If you plan to start your plarn roll today, I recommend bringing a dozen or so plastic grocery store bags. It takes a bit of work to have a big enough ball of yarn to make something so I doubt you'd need crochet needles tonight. But you should bring anything you're currently working on or have to show off to the group. :D

I'm bringing the little bird I've got started so far for the Intro to Amigurumi (aka Cute Crocheted Stuffed Toys) meetup/workshop, a ring I made from left over change from Australia, and n 8-bit hair bow I made out of perler beads over the weekend (when cleaning the craft room lead to crafting).

Don't have a project to work on or show off? No worries. I've also got a bunch of paper cut out to make little biz cards if anyone wants to help out.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
