ACA helps those of us who grew up in alcoholic, or otherwise dysfunctional homes.
Those of us who grew up in such a home, may imagine that we left it behind when we started our adult lives. But time and again, our lives repeat many of the patterns we learned as children, in our families of origin.
We meet with each other in a mutually respectful, safe environment and acknowledge our common experiences.
While the program acknowledges a higher power in our lives, it is not aligned with any specific religious creed or denomination. Both believers and non-believers particpate happily in our group.
ACA meets Sunday nights at 6.00 pm.
