Welcome to ADD Resources (ADDR) ADHD Support & Information Groups

Does ADHD (ADD) affect you or someone in your family, classroom, workplace or community? Then you've come to the right place. All of our evening groups are free and open to all.

Finding Your Peers
Just talking with like-minded others helps. An ADDR ADHD Support & Information Group brings you together with others who face the challenges of ADHD and who will share experiences and advice. You’ll have a chance to find yourself coping better and feeling less isolated. You’ll be among members of your own tribe, who think just like you.

What’s It Like
You attend an an evening group in person. Your group is facilitated by volunteers who are professionals in related fields or who have experience with ADHD and co-existing conditions. Members also offer practical advice and tips. The topics vary and the structure varies from an educational one with a presentation to one that emphasizes emotional support and shared experiences or both.

Participating In a Support Group May Help You
• Develop a clearer understanding of what to expect
• Get practical advice about treatment options
• Compare notes about resources (like doctors and alternative options)
• Talk openly and honestly about your feelings

You'll Have A Chance To
• Feel less lonely, isolated and judged
• Leave with a sense of empowerment and control
• Take away improved coping skills
• Reduce distress, depression and anxiety

If you think you, your partner, your child or someone close to you has ADHD, don't go it alone. Join us.

Welcome. You've come to the right place if you're looking for ADHD (ADD) information and support. Come to any of our evening group meetings in the Puget Sound area. You'll find a variety of interesting topics and speakers for adults, parents and for partners.

Our mission at ADD Resources is to help individuals and families with ADHD achieve their full potential through education, support and networking opportunities. We are a nonprofit run by an executive director and adult volunteers with oversight by the Board of Directors. Our funding sources are grants, donations and memberships. Cynthia Hammer founded our organization in 1993.

We are a bit different. We are independent. We provide authoritative, accurate and science-based information. We believe in the power of direct human connection. You'll get a real person when you call us.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
