Details

On the second Friday afternoon of each month, ADVAnet joins with the Austin Adobe User Group (http://austinadobeusergroup.com/) (AAUG) for their presentation. To help the New Horizons Computer Learning Center select a room that comfortably seats everyone, AAUG asks that you also use their site to RSVP (https://austinadobegroup.eventbrite.com/) to this free event.

June 13 presentation: Tips, Tricks and Workflow for Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and more.

Mark Heaps, Duarte’s Development Director will look at some of the processes and tips used at Duarte, to help assist with planning as well as gain efficiencies in your design/production workflow. He’ll start to de-engineer some assets used in design projects while focusing on an understanding of how to approach the overall need. These tools and features are often overlooked by professional creatives, but when you recognize them you can gain some time and efficiencies that help reduce stress at work. In this session he’ll look at a variety of case studies, breaking down what tools they use to help insure the success of these types of projects. He’ll specifically look at a variety of batch processing techniques, asset management, asset organization, shortcuts and cheater techniques between Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, and much more…

About the presenter: Mark Heaps loves food, music, tattoos, and currently resides in Austin, Texas. He is an Adobe Community Professional, Father, Husband, and the Development Director for Duarte Inc. His design/photography clients have been Apple, Adobe, Google, and many more. If he’s not pushing pixels, bending vectors, or outside he’s probably ruining great food with too much ketchup.
