This group is based on “African Holistic Health” the best selling book of its kind in the world. It is the first book of its kind on African Holistic medicine. It provides a wealth of information that had been missing from health, history, social sciences, and holistics.
African Holistic Health is too vast a science to cover in one book. However, this book contains an enormous amount of information on natural healing. It not only teaches medical information not found in conventional Allopathic medicine, but it also teaches it from an African point of view which is known as Ethno Medicine.
As a student of Dr. Lliala O. Afrika, the author of African Holistic health reaffirms African medical treatments that have been obliterated from textbooks as a result of European enslavement. European culture has denied black people the right to practice African Holistics and has gone so far as to label it “Unscientific or superstitious medicine.” As a result, African Americans have been forced to accept another people’s diet, medicine and culture.
This support group will help get us back to the science of African Holistic Health, which means to be healthy in the mind, body and spirit.
We will promote and attend events of other African Holistic Health centered events and support our natural living healers such as Dr. Lliala O. Afrika, Dr Sebi, Queen Afua, David Wolfe, Dick Gregory, Dr. Jewel Pookrum, Aris LaTham and others on the holistic and natural path.
We will meet on Saturaday Afternoon at Raw Soul Restaurant in Harlem for our next meetup for a meet & greet with the new members of our group. Seating is limited to only 25 people. Please do not RSVP yes if you are not actually attending.
