American Lung Association of Los Angeles Young Professionals is a meaningful non-profit organization of dedicated, talented young professionals in ranging ages from early 20’s to late 30’s in Los Angeles County. Our simple goal is to enrich our community by uniting and developing our young professionals in advocacy of health circulating around our lungs. Two main events that the American Lung Association does every year are the Fight for Air Climb that takes place downtown Los Angeles in the spring and The Walk in Santa Monica in the fall. ALAC YPG could be considered a fun place to network and meet young professionals or a potential extreme opportunity to train for fun-events.

Members join because they have a love one who has died from Lung Cancer, have asthma, want to get involved in something else aside from work as a young professional in LA, or simply because they want to make a difference.

Examples of ALAC YP offerings to members are social networking opportunities, civic and community events, and group service projects that support the American Lung Association of Los Angeles.

There is no cost to join and no attendance requirements. Young Professionals Group of ALAC does not discriminate on the basis of race, nationality, creed, color, sex, age, religion, physical or mental disability or sexual orientation.
