The Osirian Mysteries

The Osirian Mysteries were the very basis of Egyptian religion in both the living and after death. We will open with the Greeting to Osiris and end with the Hymn to Osiris from a lyrical translation by Normandie Ellis from the, “Book of Going Forth by Day.” The text is from an article by Burnam Schaa, “Pyramid, Mysteries and the Stars,” with and extract of an article by Max Guilmont on, “Initiation in Ancient Egypt,” describing Abydos and the Osirion.
