AMPP November Meeting - Marketing, Branding & Sales w/Mischa Purcell

Mischa will share some of his old school marketing techniques and how he's making them new again and applying them in today's competitive digital market.

Mischa will discuss how to use branding and projection sales to increase your bottom line.  He will share his techniques for bringing in new clients with no marketing budget.  You will also learn how Mischa is able to sell wedding albums to couples that only want the digital files.

Bio: Mischa Purcell is the lead photographer and founding artist at Mischa Photography with studios in San Francisco and Sacramento.  Together with his partner Brianne they photograph 25 weddings a year both around the Bay Area and abroad.  They also photography[masked] portrait sessions including babies, families and headshots.  Mischa also does some commercial model shoots for various clients including CafePress most recently.

Mischa has a B.A. in Fine Art/Photography.  Mischa is currently the president of the Professional Photographers of the Greater Bay Area (PPGBA.org).  He is also an active educator in the photographic community.

Mischa’s style is warm and creative. His genuine wide smile and signature laugh help to relieve the anxiety of being photographed and ensures a comfortable relationship between himself and his clients.  Mischa’s natural interests in technology and fine art have kept him on the cutting edge of what wedding and portrait photography can be.
