API Client Design Considerations

We all love APIs, and if you're responsible for an API you've probably spent a lot of time thinking about its design. But an API is only valuable when it's actually used, so we're going to spend some time with our friend the API client and API client design considerations. These are design decisions that impact the testability of API client libraries, their extensibility, their performance, and their usefulness --- to you and other developers.
