Artistic Photography of Denver (APOD) has shoots where we like to keep a ratio of 4-5 photographers to each model. We don't do any formal teaching at our workshops, instead we rely on peer instruction.
Each of our workshops focus around a theme with the majority of the time being spent having our members try to get shots in a certain style.

Our meetups are also set up so that we, the organizers, break even. that means that the workshop starts out small but grows in the number of models, availability of MUA, props, etc as the number of participating members increases.

We also focus on our models. We pay them but we request you provide them images from the shoots. Quite often, the models we work with at trying to build up a portfolio and establish themselves in the industry. We want to help with that effort and promote the ones that are truly a pleasure to work with.

We are also member oriented... and consider the members to be the ones who determine what types of meetups we have.
