Welcome Single Golfers!  You've found the right place to make friends and to meet-up with social golfers in the DC Metropolitan area, Maryland and Northern Virginia.  We are the DC Chapter of the American Singles Golf Association (ASGA).  We are a spirited, all-volunteer group that is very active all year long.  Beginners and accomplished golfers are welcome to join the fun!  We host golf outings at courses around the local area on Saturday and Sunday weekends throughout the golf season, April through November.  We arrange Friday 'Wine and Nine' golf clinics monthly and periodic weekend clinics for the learning-to-play golfer and the golfer out to improve their game.  We organize road trips near and far about once a month (e.g., Gettysburg, Carroll Valley, Rocky Gap, Williamsburg, VA Beach, Rehobeth Beach, Pinehurst, Myrtle Beach).  We host some mid-week play over the summer.  We always work hard to negotiate discounted rates for our members.  On the social side, members gather for happy hours every other Friday all year long at some of the hottest establishments in town.  We mix it up with occasional parties, dinners, concerts and wine tastings, etc., and we always combine a fun social with every golf outing so participants have a chance to meet, mix and mingle with the entire field of players.  Visit our website for the latest, up-to-date schedule of events and review past announcements, recaps and pictures at  http://SinglesGolfDC.com.     

Our affiliation with the National ASGA organization gives us exciting opportunities to play social golf with single golfers from any of the other 100 Chapters across the country when we travel, as well as participate in multi-Chapter events throughout the year.  Recent National events include the Memorial Day Weekend Reunion at the Homestead in Hot Springs, VA (a winning venue); Amelia Island Weekend in Jacksonville, FL; the Tampa Bay invitational; Scotland in August; Labor Day in Santee SC; Mountain Fall Weekend at Lake Lure, NC (dirty dancing) in October (rave reviews from DC members who attended!); Reno in September; Battle at the Beach - Marriott Grande Dunes - Myrtle Beach, SC - in November; New Year's Eve golf in FL; Winter Chill in NC in February; Crystal River in FL in March.  ASGA is a dues-based organization and members get a whole lot of value for only $79/yr.  For more information and to join, see the ASGA website at http://www.singlesgolf.com.
