The American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) is focused on photographers helping photographers.

As a part of a national trade association, the Michigan Chapter, provides resources, discussions, support and programming for photographers of all levels.

A part of our chapter initiatives is to support Michigan's growing technology-creative communities. We welcome all persons in photography and the technical and creative communities to attend our programming and other networking events to support one another's work and art, promote events and learning experiences, align business opportunities and support the rights of photographers and other creatives.

Many of our members have multiple disciplines and many of our issues crossover to other creatives. In addition, as the landscape and our industry changes, we want to have a collective voice and together through organizations such as ASMP we can have an impact.
