Atomic Total Fitness is a meetup group dedicated to improve the health and wellness of New Yorkers like you!
What we do at ATF does is so much fun, you will forget you are working out! It is more like Play Time For Adults! We try to bring about an atmosphere of comfort and fun in the studio, in the park, and wherever else we want to meet.
Underneath it all, we specialize in Biokinetics, Martial Arts and general Fitness training, as well as offer group lectures on how to stay healthy through nutrition, physical activity and general lifestyle choices. We also provide a special alternative spin class available that takes the normal spin class to a whole new level! While providing the cardiovascular and strengthening benefits similar to a spinning bike class, it utilizes more muscle groups, prevents joint pain, and works against monotony of repetitive exercises.
It is always more fun to work out with friends so we are hoping that this meetup group can provide people with partners and buddies whom will hold them accountable to sticking to their goals!
If you don't like to work out or are just not a 'gym' person, this group is for you. If you want to connect your mind to your body, this group is for you. If you are into a new kind of 'spin' class, this group is for you.If you want to lose weight, gain flexibility, gain muscle, become a kick ass martial artist, cross train for a sport or an event, do post or pre-rehab, or just literally MOVE, this GROUP IS FOR YOU!
